  15 Miles
  Three days
Price: 1 person - $800, 2 persons - $550 each, 3-6 persons - $500 each.  Includes round-trip transportation from the Portland area, guides, food, tents, and kitchen.

  DAY ONE - 4.5 miles/7.5km
We leave Portland about 7 AM and drive up to the Cultus Trailhead (4,080'/1,244m).  After gearing-up, we take the Cultus Trail 1.5 miles/2.5km to the pass on Bird Mountain. Here we leave our packs and scramble up to the north peak (5,568'/1,698m) for truly stunning views of Adams, St. Helens, Rainier, and Hood.  A short way later we intersect the Pacific Crest Trail and continue south to our first camp at Elk Lake (4,685'/1,428m).  Here we enjoy the forest and lake environment and have great views of Bird Mountain across the lake.

DAY TWO - 6 miles/10km
From Elk Lake, we rejoin the PCT.  We go south  to  Junction Lake where we head north  on the Lemei Lake Trail.  After we intersect the Lemei Trail, we climb up to the pass at Lemei Rock for a stunning view of Lake Wapiki below.  We then descend to Lake Wapiki (5,200'/1,585m) for our second camp.

  DAY THREE - 4.5 miles/7.5km
From Lake Wapiki, we descend through lush forest to our vehicle at the Filloon Trailhead.  As we take off our packs for the last time, we have a warm glow as we remember all we have seen and learned.
