YOUTH MOUNTAINEERING CAMP

An four day course in the Cascade Range of Washington designed to teach students ages 14-18 beginning and intermediate climbing skills. 
The course will focus on:

The course will include an ascent of  Mt. Adams (12,276') .  Upon completion of the course students will have been trained in:

 

The course will prepare students for future ascents of glaciated peaks.  In addition, emphasis will be placed on building a teamwork ethic among the participants that will benefit students beyond their climbing activities.

COST: Includes instructors, round trip transportation from the Portland area to the Mt. Adams base camp, permits, meals, ice ax, helmet, crampons, and group gear.
