This four-day, 20 mile trip combines spectacular
scenery and terrain, wondrous wild flowers, and the summits of three peaks.
Scheduled trip: August 22-25, 2008
Price:
1
person - $1,050, 2 persons - $650 each, 3-6 persons - $500
each Includes round-trip transportation from the Portland
area, guide(s), food, and equipment.
Itinerary
Day One – Pack in 6.0 mi. to campsite at Cispus Basin from Berry Patch Trailhead
via Trail 96A to 96 to 97 to the PCT 2000.

Day Two – Climb from Cispus Basin up South Ridge to summit of Ives
Peak. Follow South Ridge to summit of Old Snowy. Descent North Ridge of Old
Snowy to PCT. Return to camp at Cispus Basin.
Day Three – Climb from Cispus Basin to southwest corner of Goat
Citadel. Traverse on west side under

Mt. Curtis Gilbert to SW Ridge and summit.
Descent back to col south of Goat Citadel. Depending on snow conditions,
backtrack to Cispus Basin; or traverse on east side of Goat Citadel via Tieton
Glacier to north of Goat Citadel and descend to camp at Cispus Basin.

Day Four – Return to Berry Patch Trailhead and return to the Portland
area, stopping for dinner on the way.
