HORSETHIEF BUTTE
Horsethief Butte is a basalt fortress located in the Columbia River Gorge about 90 miles east of Portland. Scenic views of the gorge and Mt. Hood abound. It is the perfect place for setting up top-roped one pitch climbs. A popular beginning climbing instruction location, it is also an enjoyable site to pick out a likely route, put in a anchor, and just climb.

Rates: 1 person - $500, 2 persons - $250 each, 3-6 persons - $200 each. Includes lead and assistant guides, door-to-door transportation from the Portland area, lunch, and individual and group rock climbing equipment.
