PORTER SUPPORT

For those who have had the opportunity to travel on international trips, the joy of porter support was an absolute delight.  In North America it is normally not offered as an option, because the wage scales here are much higher.  For overnight trips, additional camp equipment and food can increase pack weight to the point where it is certainly challenging and, for some of us, so uncomfortable that is diminishes the enjoyment of the trip or results in us not being able to do the trip at all.

We offer porter support for overnight trips.  You will be responsible for carrying your personal equipment, including sleeping bag and pad.  Your porter will provide personal attention and carry the portion of group gear and food that would otherwise go into your pack. Using a porter has enabled many of our clients to successfully achieve summits and have a much more enjoyable trip.

The price is $100 per day.
