Introduction to Traditional
Rock Climbing

Introduction to Traditional Rock Climbing
focuses on climbing outside on real rock. The course covers knots, rock
climbing equipment, belaying, rappelling, and movement on rock. A

Portland gives us a chance for hands-on practice for all of our skills.
The next day we head out to Horse Thief Butte
in the Scenic Columbia River Gorge
for a day of one pitch climbing on solid basalt. Includes instructors, transportation
to Horse Thief Butte, and climbing equipment.
Price: 1 person - $700, 2-3 persons - $350
