Ultra-Light Backpacking

Two classroom sessions and  a weekend overnight trip will provide you with many ideas and tips on how to lighten your load.  This class is beneficial for those out for a weekend as well as the long-distance hiker.  By minimizing the weight and amount of gear carried, the ultra-light backpacker can quickly cover more miles with less effort.  Bring your pack and gear to be evaluated and we will discuss lighter alternatives - many of which you can make yourself.
